Happy to give some feedback:

The Barn

Beautiful venue perfect for combining a ceremony and reception and a great choice for a wedding you can put your own personal stamp on (compared to a hotel which tends to be very prescriptive). Cherry couldn't have been more helpful both before the wedding and on the big day itself.

Catering

We used Rebecca Green. Very easy to work with both before the wedding and during. Stunning food portion sizes were perfect and happy to accommodate the way we wanted to do things (eg doing speeches between courses). Charming and attentive staff kept a smile on their faces all the time and happy to tend to all requests. Rebecca was also happy to supply staff to serve on a bar for which we had provided all alcohol.

Flowers

We used Hilary Jacobs at Village Blooms. Beautiful flowers she knows the barn well and what works. She was excellent at working out the kind of thing we wanted (particularly considering we know nothing about flowers!) and the style of wedding we went for. She may seem disorganised prior to the weding but don't be put off - she knows exactly what she's doing and we would recommend her wholeheartedly.

Entertainment

We used Wessex Entertainment. Paul was patient with our requests (we wanted to make sure the acts were right for our wedding and we asked for testimonials etc). We had a barn dance then disco - worked brilliantly. Tranters Folly (barn dance) were very experienced at weddings and got everyone dancing. Mike Anderson (DJ) was happy to accommodate our song choices judged the dancefloor well to keep everyone dancing and happily took requests on the night.

Many thanks again for a great day we still talk about it all the time and will continue to do so for some time!
